Today at Math Camp for estimation we had to estimate the amount of pennies in a jar. We learned some math tricks for the Critical Thinking. Our female mathematician for today was Maryam Mirzakhani. She actually had difficulty in math during middle school, but everything started clicking in high school. She has a PhD in mathematics and was the first female recipient of the Fields Medal in 2014. One of my favorite things to learn about today was Sierpinski's Triangle.
