Today at Math Camp for our estimating activity we had to estimate the area of a poster. We reviewed sets for our Critical Thinking activity. One of my favorite things to do was learn how to use Algebra tiles. They helped me understand a lot better.

Other things we learned about:

Fundamental Counting Principle: When there are m ways to do one thing, and n ways to do another, there are m times n ways to do both.

Polygon: 2D; multisided shape; closed

Polyhedron: 3D; has polygons for faces

Platonic Solids: Cube, Tetrahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, and Icosahedron.

Pascal's Triangle and all the different patterns!
